I just saw this for the first time a couple weeks ago. It is, without a doubt, the greatest film that Western cinema has ever produced. I particularly liked the drug-induced animation sequence (the bird wore leg-warmers!).
We just "screened" The Ladykillers (1955) on Saturday night for our group. No heckling, just laughing. It's being remade by the Coen brothers, should be interesting...
HI, I'M KEVIN SMOKLER. I'm a writer and public speaker based in San Francisco. I've been tapping out thoughts online since 2001 (RSS feed). Here's the easiest way to get in touch with me.

The bird wore legwarmers? I thought those were marshmallows.

Looked like Marshmellows to me too. But both are hysterical.

I'm so sorry I missed the movie and the heckling opportunity. Sleep, however, prevailed, and next month, I'll be better prepared.
